Connecting your club management software to your current systems
Nearly every private club implements highly specialized club management software to manage its operations and accounting. ClubPay recognizes the importance of integrating payroll, human resources management and labor management into your club management system to facilitate property wide control and comprehensive financial reporting.
The commitment to developing interfaces is always related to the potential demand for the interface. In other words, the higher the number of a company's potential customers that will benefit from a custom interface, the more interested and committed the company is to developing and maintaining that interface. Because we are focused exclusively on clubs, it makes sense for us to develop and support advanced interfaces to all club management software systems.
For ClubPay, our potential customers include private country clubs, semi-private country clubs, high-end daily fee courses and resorts. Therefore, it makes sense for us to develop interfaces to specialized software providers in the club industry such as Jonas, Club Systems Group, IBS, NorthStar, ClubSoft, Crescent Systems, Abacus, ClubTec and others. Another interface we support is with GateKeeper Business Solutions, a labor management solution used a many country clubs. If we don't have an interface with your current club management software provider, we will develop it.
A club management system interface typically includes two components 1) General Ledger and 2) Time Keeping. The purpose of a General Ledger Interface is to convert payroll journal entry information into a common format that can be easily imported into your club management system. This saves you the time intensive task of manually posting the details of your labor expense. On the other hand, a Time Keeping interface is typically used to import hours worked from your labor management system into ClubPay to process your club payroll. The interface greatly reduces the time required to post hours worked manually into payroll.
Additionally, club management system interfaces may be configured as either one-way or bi-directional. A one way interface means information is traveling in only one direction. For example, your club exports a payroll file from ClubPay for import into your club accounting software package. In a bi-directional interface, information is exchanged in both directions. For example, employees may be maintained in ClubPay Payroll and exported into GateKeeper Labor Management, and the hours from the GateKeeper Labor Management, are also imported into ClubPay for payroll processing.
